My passion for hair started when I was a young girl. With African descent parents I had afro textured hair so my hair was always dry and frizzy. I researched anything to do with hair at any opportunity I got because I desperately wanted a good hair day every single day. When my under active thyroid kicked in and autoimmune (Hashimotos Disease) I became sensitive to anything I would put on my scalp and body. Hair thinning, dryness, straw like texture… I have seen it all.
Nearly every hair product I bought made my hair worse as opposed to better. It’s only when I started to research the ingredients did I realise they were full of harsh chemicals that were not only robbing my bank account but also robbing my hair from being healthy. I realised I’m paying for hair products that are damaging my hair follicles. I learned the hard way to start reading the ingredients on the back of these so called miracle products.
I realised it was near impossible to find something that was chemical free whilst being effective at the same time. It made me frustrated to see the sheer volume of what normal people like me and you are purchasing to put on our hair and skin is full of harsh chemicals. Using my knowledge & research from my lifelong obsession for hair together with the frustration of spending so much money on hair products that made my hair worse, I decided to embark on the challenge of creating hair rejuvenation products that would be chemical free, safe and most importantly, ones that actually worked. Knowing how particular I am about what goes on my hair, I made a vow that if I was willing to use these products on myself, I would share them with the world.
I embarked on a journey to take on the challenge. After years of formulating with top dermatologists, I finally developed my own 100% organic hair nourishment and hair growth products. When I saw the results on trials with my family & friends, I was amazed. Most of them had grown hair far healthier than what it was before they used my products. Their results convinced me to take my products to the world.
Helping others get results in their beauty regime using chemical free formulas became my mission & my vision. My obsession with hair is how my brand, Arz Organic Beauty, was born. Within a year of launching the Hair Products, I created accompanying face and body products with the same philosophy in mind. My story is simple. No chemicals please.
